Are you trying Alflorex for the first time? Not sure what to expect?
Please note, as of April 12th 2017, the Alflorex Careline numbers have changed. The Alflorex Careline may now be contacted from the UK at 0330 057 8598 and from Ireland at 021 206 6012.

Alflorex is the only product that contains 35624® culture, with over 15 years of research and clinical trials by leading scientists and doctors. The 35624 culture is part of the Bifidobacteria family of bacteria, one of the first types of bacteria passed to babies from their mothers at birth. Alflorex has consistently shown to reduce symptoms such as bloating, abdominal pain, gas and unpredictable bowel movements.

How quickly does Alflorex work?
Alflorex starts to work immediately and begins to prime your gut where it is needed. The full benefits of Alflorex can be seen after 4 weeks. Some people notice some changes in their gut after a few days or weeks of taking Alflorex as it starts to work. Each person is different so it is important to continue taking Alflorex if you experience these changes immediately, or after a number of weeks.

How long should I take Alflorex® for and what happens if I stop?
It’s important to remember that Alflorex will disappear from the intestine a few days after you stop taking it. You should continue to take the product to maintain the benefits of improved gut health.

If you have further questions about Alflorex and how it works, our careline is available Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 17:30 and is backed by a wide range of expertise from nutrition and dietetics to clinical healthcare professionals and research scientists.
