PrecisionBiotics Group Ltd is part of Novozymes One Health, the Human Health Unit of one of the world’s leading biotech companies, the Novozymes Group.

Novozymes A/S, Krogshoejvej 36, DK-2880 Bagsvaerd, Denmark (“we” or “us”), is responsible for the processing of your personal information provided to or collected by us in connection with your use of the Website or any other interaction you have with us, including the Webshop.

We are committed to protecting your personal information and the following describes how we collect, process, and store your personal information in accordance with applicable laws, including EU General Data protection Regulation no. 679/2016 (GDPR) and the UK Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

What information do we collect and why?

1) Name, e-mail address and other identification or personal details (contact information, marketing preferences, feedback on the use of our product when voluntarily provided by you, e.g., in connection with sign-up for our newsletter or in connection with other interactions with us, e.g., using the chat or other communication functions, entering into competitions, online surveys or product related queries.

2) Name, billing address, shipping address, phone number, purchases and purchase history, payment information (including credit card numbers), IP address and e-mail address when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Website.

3) User behavior tracking through the use of cookies or other technologies.

4) Information voluntarily provided by you through social media log-in.

5) Information received from The Hut, which operates our Webshop in UK .As part of this solution, we will receive information from The Hut relating to your purchases of our products and feedback. This may include your name, address and email address and other information such as the category of item purchased or event to which it relates. This information will be by used by us to indicate your likely interests so we can provide a more relevant service to you.

6) Information received from WooCommerce, which operates for our Republic of Ireland online business. As part of this solution, we will receive information relating to your purchases of our products. This may include your name, address and email address and other information such as the category of item purchased which it relates.

You should note that where you share any of your activity on third-party social media platforms, you will then be subject to the privacy and cookie policies governing the respective platforms.

You are not obliged to provide us with your personal information. However, if you do not, we might not be able to carry out the services you have requested of us.

 

How do we use your information?

We use the information collected from you to provide quotations, make telephone contact and to email you marketing information which we believe may be of interest to you or your business. In you making initial contact, you consent to our maintaining a marketing dialogue with you until you either opt out (which you can do at any stage) or we decide to desist in promoting our services.

Some personal data may be collected about you from the forms and surveys you complete, from records of our correspondence and details of your visits to our website, including but not limited to personally identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. We may from time to time use such information to identify its visitors. We may also collect statistics about the behaviour of visitors to its website.

PrecisionBiotics Webshop - UK

Our on-site ecommerce store is run for us currently by The Hut Group for our UK business You can find their details in the Terms and Conditions on the store section on the site.

Whereas The Hut Group operate the store, is the merchant of record responsible for the sale of goods to you. We remain responsible for the processing of your personal information as a data controller. In that context, The Hut Group is merely the data processor acting in accordance with our instructions, facilitating also the services provided by other data processers, e.g., for third party payment processing.

The Hut Group (as data processor) will have access to your data in order to fulfil the transaction, process your purchase, and send you the goods you have purchased and otherwise dealing with customer queries and other store related matters. They will not use your data for any other purposes.

Novozymes will otherwise collect, use and share your data that relates to your use of the webshop, as further described in this Policy.

PrecisionBiotics Ireland

Our on-site ecommerce platform is run for us using WooCommerce for our Republic of Ireland business.

We remain responsible for the processing of your personal information as a data controller. In that context, WooCommerce is merely the data processor acting in accordance with our instructions, facilitating also the services provided by other data processers, e.g., for third party payment processing and dispatching product that you have purchased.

WooCommerce (as data processor) will have access to your data in order to fulfil the transaction, process your purchase. They will not use your data for any other purposes.

Novozymes will otherwise collect, use and share your data that relates to your use of the webshop, as further described in this Policy.

Legal basis for processing any personal data

  • To provide you with requested services and orders.
  • To meet our contractual obligations to customers and clients and to also     respond to business, marketing and Careline enquiries.
  • Legitimate interests pursued by us and/or its customers or clients with respect  to improvement and customization of the website, the services offered, and the  products marketed.
  • Legitimate interests pursued by us in promoting the marketing and information  offered by us and/or marketing the services and/or products offered by us.
  • Legitimate interests in or legal obligation to ensure business administration, record keeping and compliance.
  • Your consent, when you opt in to receive marketing or to participate in online surveys ,competitions and receive newsletters.
  • Personal data that you provide to us voluntarily is processed by us based on the legal basis of consent per the GDPR Article 6. Consent can be withdrawn at any time should you change your mind.

Disclosure and transfers of data

We may on occasions pass your Personal Information to third parties exclusively to process work on our behalf or to other affiliates in the Novozymes group if required to fulfil requests submitted by you. We require these parties to agree to process this information based on our instructions and requirements consistent with this Privacy Notice and relevant data protection laws.

We may disclose your Personal Information to meet legal obligations, regulations, or valid governmental requests.

In some cases, we will be transferring personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA, in connection with our business. Such transfers will only take place for the specific purposes mentioned above under the section “What information do we collect and why?”.

How long do we keep your personal information?

Your personal information will be retained for as long as it is relevant to fulfil the purpose for which it has been registered.   • The categories of personal data collected, stored and processed.
  • Recipient(s) or categories of recipients that the data is/will be disclosed to.
  • How long the data will be stored.
  • Details of your rights to correct, erase, restrict or object to such processing.
  • Information about your right to withdraw consent at any time.
  • How to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (Data Protection Regulator).
  • Whether the provision of personal data is a statutory or contractual requirement, or a requirement necessary to enter a contract, as well as whether you are obliged to provide the personal data and the possible consequences of failing to provide such data.
  • The source of personal data if it wasn’t collected directly from you.
