CANCELLATION POLICY

Right of cancellation

You have the right to cancel your order without giving any reasons within 14 days from the date on which you or a third party indicated by you (other than the carrier) received the goods (or the last goods if the order relates to goods or multiple lots or pieces delivered separately) or from the date on which you placed the order in the case of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. CD or DVD).

To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel your order. Please send your notice of cancellation to:

  • Amazon EU S.à r.l., 38 avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxemburg for Products sold and shipped by Amazon.
  • Amazon Services Europe S.à r.l., 38 avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxemburg for Products sold by a third-party supplier and shipped by Amazon.

You can fill out and send your cancellation notice according to the instructions and forms downloaded from the Online Returns Centre, by contacting Amazon or using this standard cancellation form. If you use the Online Returns Centre, Amazon will instantly acknowledge receipt of your cancellation (e.g. by e-mail).

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send notice of your decision to exercise your right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired and to return the goods via the Amazon Online Returns Centre or direct to Amazon Returns Centre, Amazonstraße 1, 36251 Bad Hersfeld by the deadline given below.

Effects of cancellation:

If you cancel your order, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery charges (excluding additional charges incurred for delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery on offer). This refund will be made without delay and, except in the situations described below, by no later than fourteen days from the date on which Amazon received your order cancellation notice. The same payment method will be used for this refund as you used for the initial transaction, unless otherwise expressly agreed with you. There is no charge for refunds. Refunds may be withheld until Amazon has received the goods back or you have provided proof of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You must send back the goods without delay and in any case by no later than fourteen days from the date on which you sent Amazon your order cancellation notice, via the Amazon Online Returns Centre or direct to Amazon Returns Centre, Amazonstraße 1, 36251 Bad Hersfeld. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. You must pay the regular cost of returning the goods if the goods delivered correspond to the goods ordered and if the price of the goods to be sent back does not exceed 40 euros, or if, where the price of the goods is higher, you have not yet paid the consideration or a contractually agreed instalment at the time of cancellation. Otherwise the return of the goods is free of charge. Goods that cannot be sent by parcel will be collected from you. You will only have to pay compensation for any deterioration of the goods if their value diminishes due to the handling of the goods (except when it was necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functionality of the goods).

Exceptions to the right of cancellation

  • The right to cancellation does not exist or lapses, as the case may be, in the case of orders regarding:
  • the delivery of goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons if unsealed by you after delivery, or which, due to their nature, have been inseparably mixed with other items after delivery;
  • the delivery of sealed audio or video recordings or computer software if unsealed by you after delivery;
  • the delivery of goods made to customer specification or clearly customized to personal requirements;
  • the delivery of goods which may deteriorate or expire rapidly;
  • a service if we have performed it in full and you acknowledged and expressly accepted before placing your order that we could start to deliver the service, and you could not cancel it once the contract had been performed in full;
  • the supply of digital content (including apps, digital software, eBooks, MP3, etc.) which is not delivered on a tangible medium (e.g. on a CD or DVD), if before your order was executed you expressly accepted and at the same time confirmed that we could start to deliver the content, and that you could not cancel it once delivery had started;
  • the delivery of newspapers, journals or magazines, with the exception of subscription contracts; and
  • the supply of alcoholic beverages whose price was agreed at the time the purchase contract was concluded, but which can only be delivered after 30 days and whose actual value depends on fluctuations in the market which we cannot control.
